The informal refugee camp in La Plaza de La República, which was once home to up to 3,000 people, was forcibly shut down by the City of Reynosa on May 2nd, 2022 displacing hundreds and resulting in the unfinished shelter that Solidarity has been working on, Senda 2, to be opened out of necessity.
