Gender-based violence is a global phenomenon. It's reported that one in three women experiences either intimate partner violence or no-partner sexual violence in their lifetime (WHO). ‘Max’ Malefhe was shot eight times by her ex-lover. Max is a gender-based violence and disability right activist, and ex-national basketball player. She was the captain of Botswana’s first women’s national basketball team. In this episode of the EPS series, Max's story will shake you, and leave you drenched in anger and emotions.
