
In this bonus episode of the series, the project’s lived experience group, BUDDs, and the research team discuss co-producing the project, 'Sharing the diagnosis of dementia in the post-Covid clinic: patient and practitioner perspectives'. The team discuss the co-produced approach of the project, share their highlights of working together, and give some insight into the benefits and challenges of co-producing research.
Joining this episode are BUDD members, Louise, Margaret, Barry, Elaine and Claire, and researchers from the University of Edinburgh, Lindsay Kinnaird (also presenting), Denise Munro, Dr Tom Russ and Dr Rosie Ashworth. Dr Tom Russ is also an Old Age Psychiatrist based in Edinburgh, Director of the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre, an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and Research Champion for the NHS Scotland Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network. Dr Rosie Ashworth also works with NHS Scotland Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network as lead for Partners in Research and is experienced in co-producing research in collaboration with people with lived experience of dementia.
