When you are about to book a railway ticket and note that it is on the Waiting List, your first thought is: Oh No! Let me book it anyway and wait for confirmation in a day or two.

But if that doesn't happen and the Wait Listed ticket graduates to RAC, Reservation Against Cancellation, you board the train and wait for the TTE (Train Ticket Examiner).
