This will be a daily posting of my trip through the Bible. I will be reading the NET aloud. Each day I will introduce the passage with a brief commentary. But mostly I will simply be reading the Word of God for you. I'd love to hear how God is using this podcast to help you or answer any questions you may have. You can contact me on twitter: @nemoyatpeace or email me at DevotedToScripture@gmail.com.

#363 Revelation 20-22

Day 363 of the podcast, reading Revelation 20-22 NET, read along at:
https://netbible.org/bible/Revelation+20-22/

This is day 363 of our journey.

Wow!  Today, we finish our incredible journey through the Bible.

The Bible ends with John describing the final judgement of Satan and his followers.  They will be cast into the lake of fire to be tormented forever.  But, those who have persevered through trials and devoted themselves to Christ will reign with him forever.  God will return and will wipe away every tear, he will remove all pain and suffering and disease and hardship and sickness.  We will live in a great city with God as our source of light.  There will be no more need of a temple, because God will dwell with us!

Join me in Revelation 20-22 and rejoice at the coming of Christ and...Join me tomorrow for a final, special episode with some closing comments and a challenge moving forward!

Thank you for joining me on this journey this year!  You’ve made it through the Bible, congratulations!  But, this is just the beginning, what will you do next?  How will you share the things you have learned and the ways that God has worked in your life?  How are you going to join God in the story of Salvation?  Come back tomorrow for one more broadcast as I share some of the ways that God has been working in my life this year.  Be devoted to Scripture!

Key verses:

Revelation 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more – or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”

Revelation 22:20
The one who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

All Scriptures are from the NET.
