Dr. Nader Nadershahi is dean of his alma mater at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. After graduating dental school in 94’ he has held several faculty positions in all areas of the curriculum, leadership roles as a Group Practice Administrator, Department Char, Executive Associate Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Before becoming Dean, he has owned and operated his own private general dentistry practice in San Rafael and San Anselmo, CA with his wife Dr. Niloufar Nadershahi, who is also a Pacific Alumna.
Dr. Nadershahi holds a doctorate degree in education from Pacific's Benerd School of Education and has an MBA from Pacific's Eberhardt School of Business. He is a fellow of the International and American College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Nadershahi was recently elected as chair-elect of the board in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
Dr. Nadershahi is honored to count Dr. Arthur A. Dugoni as a mentor and friend and is determined to continue growing the humanistic model of education that he experienced as a student, by focusing on mutual respect, high standards, dignity and self-worth. Dr. Nadershahi knows he's educating the future leaders in dentistry.
