Ch 1: 2024 Election Guaranteed Disaster - Audio Sample
On Tuesday, November 5th, the day of the 2024 American Presidential Election, over 155,000,000 Americans each check a few boxes, wear a sticker, post publicly about their commitment to civic engagement, and feel like they did their part. Then later in the evening, voters and non-voters stream various channels as results pour in. In a couple of hours, days, or weeks, eventually, someone will be declared the winner. Those on the winning side will celebrate the incredible gains that they made happen by supporting the winning candidate because now America and the world are saved. They believe that everyone can rest easy because the righteous side won and they have the perfect plan to fix all the ills across our nation. These supporters are certain that by the next election, everyone throughout the nation will be super rich living amazing lives and America will be a safe high-functioning utopia now that the right leader is in power. On the losing side, they are certain that America will fall further as a wasteland into mass chaos, and they will continue fighting the new oppressive regime that will do everything possible to harm America. The two diverging views are correct in predicting what will transpire in America when the opposing side wins. However, both viewpoints are highly delusional about the benefits of their side winning. Because both sides falsely believe that when their side wins the election their own lives will be transformed and their communities will be drastically improved.
