
You may have noticed that the mind can be pretty noisy. And you may be worried that you aren’t doing this right. Perhaps that meditation isn’t for you because you can’t stop all your thoughts. But that is exactly what meditation is supposed to be. We are simply paying attention to thoughts – just watching them come and go. And when we pay attention, we are building our attention muscle, so that each time we catch ourselves having a thought, we can gently guide it back and strengthen that muscle.
