He established the Watchtower organization to provide spiritual truth for the true worshipers through literature such as The Watchtower and Awake! magazines. (14) JWs have predicted when the world would end. But their predicted dates have failed miserably. Russell shifted the date of the end of the world from 1874, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975, and 1995.
