Funkadelic was the rock half to Parliament’s funk half, all being born out of George Clinton’s musical brain. John and Justin listen deeper to the nine albums from the group’s inception in 1970 through 1976, focusing on Funkadelic, Free Your Mind..., Maggot Brain, and America Eats Its Young in Part 1.  We’ll run through Cosmic Slop, Standing on the Verge, Let’s Take it to the Stage, Takes of Kidd Funkadelic, and Hardcore Jollies in Part 2.
