Deep Fried Neurons was started as a storytelling podcast, but now we talk about how we live in a society. While stories are a large chunk of the content shared on the podcast, it also takes deep dives and tries to create conversations that introduce or educate people about known topics, mostly in philosophy - but philosophy learned through history, epistimiology, mythology and lingual studies.

#88 - Manufacturing Consent

In this episode, we discuss Noam Chomsky and Edward Hansen's extremely influential book: Manufacturing Consent. The last 4 years have been devastating for the credibility of the press, and this book makes an eery representation of how the stories it weaves around the institutional journalism in post World War II order fell together in favour of the powerful. The book inspired bands like System Of A Down and comedians and social commentators like Goerge Carlin along with the entire journalistic cover around Conformation bais that is relevant to this day.
