Our guest is Em aka That Spitfire Nurse. She is an onco-palliative nurse and content creator based out of Houston, TX! She has been a nurse for 6 years now mostly in oncology, but has always had a heart for palliative care and is happy to have found a role that allows her to combine her passion for both! Em enjoys combining entertainment and education on TikTok and Instagram to help end the stigma surrounding palliative care in the oncology setting and teach patients and providers alike that palliative care is something to be embraced rather than feared. “I love what I do and I do what I love--simple as that!”
