In this episode, we zoom out to explore that crucial week: from George Ball’s internal dissent in Washington to the MiG shootdowns in North Vietnam, from Australia’s draft mobilization to the tragedy of young soldiers like Olympian Ronald Zinn. The war was speeding up, and Bill, like many others, was caught in its momentum.
