He talks about how he transformed from a pre-dental undergrad into an analytics executive. He outlines how he watched customer analytics evolve to include digital channels and detailed customer journey analytics. Most importantly, he talks about how technical skills aren’t enough to succeed but also how people from nontraditional backgrounds can transition to a career in data science if they focus on building their skills. We also discuss the (hopefully!) obvious reasons why it is bad to use words like heteroscedasticity in a business setting.
