May the Good Lord Bless you! _________ Welcome to the 3rd week in this series on fasting and prayer…   Doing this kind of Fasting in the beginning of the year is like giving the First fruit…  We don’t need to wait for something to go wrong before you fast and pray… but be ready at all times – whether you are in battle or not.  Fasting is proactive and not re-active. Refuse to give what the flesh wants and give the spirit what it needs.   "I must decrease, and He must increase…" 2 Corinthians 10: 3 – 6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
