Karen Nyame KG on UK Funky, Industry Challenges and Healthy Boundaries

Karen Nyame KG is a one of London's most interesting artists. She's a DJ and producer who started off in the UK funky scene but quit music. She made a big return in 2018 after a release on the label Goon Club All Stars. Since then, she's continued to rise! Mixmag rightly called her one of the DJs who defined 2023.

In this episode, Karen Nyame KG talks to Emily about industry challenges, how she's vowed to look after her self with healthy boundaries and how she builds her DJ sets based on emotions.
