Episode 66: Returning Back from Maternity Leave (Dance Teacher Edition)

Today's episode is one I have been wanting to share for awhile now, but felt I needed more time as I am currently 4 months postpartum from my second birth experience.

Questions I see on Dance Teacher forums a lot are, "what should I expect returning after maternity leave," "what items do I need for baby to make my transition back to the studio smooth," etc.

I wanted to address some of these questions and include my own experiences in an episode to help those navigating this time of life.

The number one takeaway though is, you will not have any one else's experiences, and no one else will have yours. You know your baby better than anyone, and you know your body better than anyone.

This is such a beautiful time, a challenging and beautiful time, but I hope today's episode will help you to find ease in this transition, and to feel valid in all of the feelings you are feeling.

Tune in to hear my recommendations for return to work, items needed for baby and you, coping strategies for when you do not feel ready to return, and more!
