Living in the Light
Scripture: Ephesians 5:8-9 (The Message)
You groped your way through that murk once, but no longer. You're out in the open now. The bright light of Christ makes your way plain. So no more stumbling around. Get on with it! The good, the right, the true—these are the actions appropriate for daylight hours.
Today, let's focus on living in the light of Christ. Before we came to know Jesus, we were living in darkness, separated from God. But now, through the saving grace of Christ, we have been brought into the light, and our lives should reflect that transformation.
As we go about our day, let's be mindful of our actions, ensuring they align with the good, the right, and the true. By living in the light of Christ, we can be a shining example to those around us and help guide others to the love and grace of God.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for bringing us out of darkness and into your marvelous light. Help us to live our lives in a way that reflects your goodness, righteousness, and truth. May we be a shining example to others, leading them to the saving grace of your love. In your name, we pray. Amen.
