13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do - Chapter 9
When we overlook the sacrifices, regime, work, effort, and grit of others, we end up resenting their success. Resentiment of others is deep-rooted insecurity. Focus on our own definitions, attitudes, circumstances, and strengths. Work on those and to magnify these aspects. This is what will lead us to success. They are always aware of their own attitudes. By resenting others' success, we lose sight of the most important player - ourselves.
