Loss, Grief, Priorities with Brooks Anacker | Ep 32

Trigger Warning: this episode features a heavy discussion around the loss of a child, if this hits too close to home, be sure to be in a good place and frame of mind before listening.

Brooks is the father to three children, two sons and a daughter. His daughter, Evangeline, is sadly no longer with us so a large focus of this episode is on the grief process of the tragic loss of a child. Brooks has been able to channel all of the feelings around the tragedy into positivity by becoming certified as a coach and aiming to help other men or parents through similar tough situations.

We also touch on some of the various treatment methods Brooks experienced for the mental health challenges brought on by this loss.

I hope this episode can leave a positive impact on you and help show you the side of life that we often do not want to think about, or struggle discussing when faced with someone having experienced such a trauma. If this episode had a profound impact in anyway and you would like to get in touch to discuss more, please do reach out at daddialoguepodcast@gmail.com
