The great parenting philosopher Thanos summed it up best when asked by a small child, "what did it cost?" [Thanos]: "Everything." The sacrifice is real and... [looks down at shoes and kicks a stone] worth it. When you become a parent there are some things you know you have to give up like being in a rock band, or wingsuiting. But then there's other things that you never thought you'd have to give up like going out with friends, video games or doing class A drugs.
