Especially in the world of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) businesses, where the sexier aspects like marketing usually steal the spotlight, while the finer points of supply chain management tend to linger backstage. Yet, Izzy took a distinctive path. With a family background in manufacturing and a genuine understanding of supply chain intricacies, Izzy elevated himself above the usual supply chain practices. ππβ
π’ In 2012, Izzy launched his own D2C home and kitchen brand. He later evolved it into a closed marketplace, gaining customer satisfaction and lower prices by carefully curating sellers on his website and implementing direct shipping from manufacturers to end customers.
π’ Just last year, Browze shook things up by establishing a fulfillment center in China. The results were nothing short of spectacular: quicker deliveries, seamless USPS tracking, and a whopping 40% surge in profit margin. Witnessing the game-changing impact, Izzy didn't stop there. Riding the wave of Browze's success, Izzy then extended an open invitation to other DTC brands, leading to the birth of Portless!
