A brief introduction into a train wreck of a relationship and my first experience with being on my own. There are no truly evil people in my book of life. Just broken people making mistakes. At least that’s how I felt up until my second marriage. But that will have to wait for another day.
A journey from natural hair to relaxed and a return to natural. As an African American woman, my hair has contributed vastly to my identity. It has been a source of shame then freedom and ultimately pride. Listen as I paint a picture of this journey and how I have overcome shame and instill a sense of pride in my daughter’s.
