Alternatives like mediation or arbitration can offer faster, less adversarial paths to resolution without airing out all your business to the public. But, they’re not the best option for every case — like everything with our justice system, there’s a lot of nuance.
Kimberly Taylor, CEO of JAMS, sat down with investigative journalist Mandy Matney and attorney Eric Bland to discuss the advantages of differences between mediation and arbitration.
Taylor highlights JAMS' 40-year history, its 30-40 new panelists annually, and its optional appellate process. JAMS recently welcomed judge Clifton Newman as one of their newest mediators!
