Rebrand of the WSL, and Crossways WSL Team of the Season Revealed
Hosts Ian Wright and Steph Houghton discuss the rebrand of the WSL and Championship, calling for transparency and clarity for the fans and clubs so that everyone can get on the same page about the future of women's football in England. Wrighty calls for the excitement and intensity of the Championship game between the London City Lionesses and Birmingham City to be everywhere in the WSL next season, and Steph doesn't sugarcoat her feelings on relegation and plans for the pathway. They then discuss the latest Lionesses squad: Stanway is back, Ella Morris gets her first call-up, and Agyemang keeping her spot. Then they create their WSL Team of the Season.
