Crime Bot Canada is a true-crime podcast that focuses on Canadian cases. This podcast is close to my heart as In 1982 my cousin Laurie Boyd was brutally murdered. I began listening to other crime podcasts in hopes that someone would cover the case, no one ever did. I created the first episode to tell my kids the story. I only ever planned to share this with my family but the more people heard it the more they encouraged me to make it public. I hope you enjoy it. Why BOT? We use computer-generated voices for the entire podcast. Have a listen.

1. Small Town Evil Alberta

The brutal murders of Laurie Boyd and Debbie Stevens by Canadian Serial killers Robert Brown and James Peters. Our story begins in 1981 and by the time it is told the innocence of small-town Alberta Canada will be lost forever. The sheer brutality of these crimes will be remembered as 2 of Canada’s most violent murders. 2 young ladies lose their lives while a 3rd barely escapes the clutches of sheer evil. Finally, we hear about a mother that would never stop fighting for justice. This heartbreaking tale is for mature audiences only and, listener discretion is strongly advised! Credits: Calgary Herald, Okotoks Online, Red Deer Advocate, The Daily Herald Tribune, Wikipedia for the "Faint Hope Clause". Family quotes from Diane Boyd.
