In this episode of the podcast, we talk about the final match of the women's exhibition series between the Amazons and the Superwomen. It was a thriller with the Amazons setting a target of 219 for the Superwomen to chase. The Superwomen were also up to the challenge and were on par at many points in the game until the unfortunate run-out of Iram Javed - at which point they started losing wickets. A brilliant century by Chamari Athapaththu was not enough to get the Superwomen across the line and they ended up getting 185 in their allocated overs. The Amazons reigned supreme and bagged the match as well as the series, 2-1. Danni Wyatt was again the player of the match for this one for her contributions with the bat as well as the ball. We enjoyed these exhibition matches a lot and look forward to more such initiatives from the PCB which allow us to watch our women stars in action. Keep supporting women's cricket.
