Zaccheaus makes an intentional effort to hear the words of the Christ, even climbing a tree to do so. Then he engages with Jesus and experiences transformation because of it. We may have experienced this kind of conversion from our old ways ourselves, but how do we respond when “those people” get God’s grace as much as we do?
