Rediscovering Creativity: What I've Learned So Far

In this solo episode, I’m sharing a bit of my own story—what it’s been like to find my way back to creativity in my mid to late 20s. I talk about the things that have helped along the way, like The Artist’s Way, morning pages, and learning to balance the softer and stronger parts of myself. I also reflect on how culture, upbringing, and ideas of “success” can shape the way we see creativity—sometimes keeping us from it entirely. This episode is really about remembering that creativity isn’t reserved for a chosen few—it’s something we all have access to. It can be healing, grounding, playful, and even powerful. And it gets to look different for everyone.

Some threads from this episode:

  • Creativity as a journey of self-discovery and authentic connection
  • Everyone has the potential to be creative—regardless of job title or background
  • The Artist’s Way and morning pages as tools for reflection and creative recovery
  • Balancing feminine and masculine energies to support creative flow
  • Prioritising time for yourself as a way to shift your reality
  • Nature as a powerful source of inspiration and healing
  • The role of community and creative expression in fostering belonging
  • How cultural conditioning can shape (and limit) our ideas of creativity and success
  • Why creativity deserves to be valued alongside more traditional career paths
