After working in a job that felt meaningless, Nicola Leddy uprooted her life and took a plunge - making videos and content for charities. She was searching to make films that matter and is now the Film and Photography Lead for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Her documentary about the incredible resilience of Joshua who received a life-changing head injury aged 11 and was told he would never walk again. Years later after a chance encounter with a choreographer, Joshua learns to dance. Nicola highlights her love for creating empowering films, revealing the challenges of being a female filmmaker, and forging real connections with those she works with.
