Elisabeth Blanchet on how to seize opportunities and to not be afraid to change lifepaths

For the third episode of Creating Waves, we hear from photographer and Pauline’s mum, Elisabeth Blanchet. Otherwise unofficially known as ‘Britain’s Most Boring Woman’ and a title she holds dear to her heart. Elisabeth tells us about her journey from a maths teacher to a photographer to her latest career change. We find out more about her documentary Russian Boy, how finding an old film camera in a charity shop with an undeveloped roll of film led her to track down its owner from Moscow and how they developed a real friendship ever since. Elisabeth guides us through the importance of owning your passions, to not be afraid and to push through your obstacles.
