The topic we will be covering is “Selling The Value of Marketing”,  we will be discussing the effectiveness of consistent brand marketing and the importance of stakeholder management in both franchised and member co-operative based businesses.

My guest for today is Cam Davies. Cam has been in sales and marketing roles for the past 25 years with Tabcorp then spending 14 years at Nike Australia in roles covering Retail Operations, Product Management and Development, Sports Marketing, and Retail Brand Development. He then moved to Greyhound Racing Victoria and revamped the racing and events brand and also the Greyhound Adoption Program. Moving to BIG4 Cam overhauled the brand strategy and re-launched their loyalty program renaming it BIG4 Holiday Perks and re-establishing parks as a key element of the loyalty experience. Currently, Cam has dual roles at Associated Retailers Limited where he oversees the Sports Division and SportsPower network of sports stores as well as being the Group Marketing lead for other brands such as Toyworld and Compleat Angler.
