Sadly, last month I lost my brother to suicide. Typically when this happens we don’t talk about it - but this stigma is exactly what breeds these situations. Because of this, I am personally committed to sharing what I have learned through navigating this experience and in this episode I provide practical solutions to prevent death by suicide, and care for those affected by it using my expertise in mental health. This is part 2 of a 2 part series. In this second episode, you’ll learn: 1) Important topics to educate yourself upon & resources you can use to assist you in creating safe, supportive & positive spaces for your loved ones, your colleagues and practices (including how to support someone with an addiction or who might be thinking of suicide); 2) 6 things you need to start implementing to support others with their mental health (some of these suggestions will be the opposite of what you think you should do - it’s important to understand what these are); 3) How to support the men in your life with their mental health & important considerations for men’s mental health (including why many romantic partners become the sole person their male partner confides in and why this often doesn’t provide adequate support for either person in the relationship - though it’s much better than saying nothing at all); 4) How to support your own mental health as a spaceholder, coach, therapist, facilitator, consultant or other professional working in the mental health, personal development and wellbeing industry; and 5) How to best support someone affected by suicide and be supported if you lose someone to suicide. This episode has been recorded to raise awareness on suicide, and is highly recommended for all, particularly those of you who work in the coaching, mental health, healing, helping, personal development and therapy industry. CLB 289: Design a World Class Blueprint for Your Business
Most of the women I work with completely shut down at the thought of a business plan. Because they are SO boring! And we all know plans are meant to be broken, and will inevitably change anyway. So why bother? And at the same time, if you’re honest with yourself, a part of you continues to search for the perfect plan or strategy that will make everything easier in your business. It’s kind of like you’ve got one eye on the next intuitive step for your business, and another on what everyone else is doing and trying… It’s no wonder business can feel so overwhelming and confusing! What I love to teach women is this. You don’t need a cookie cutter plan that’s been designed by Chat GPT, your coach or some other business owner that isn’t you. You need YOUR plan. A plan that is flexible, adaptable and unique to you. Think of your plan as your personal blueprint for success - reminding you of what to factor in when you’re making decisions. It’s your anchor through the ups and downs of business, and life. This blueprint will become the backbone to your business & leadership. It will provide you with clarity, calmness and confidence through each and every season of your business. Sound too good to be true? I promise you it’s not. Tune into today’s episode on the podcast to find out more and then join me for my upcoming Masterclass: Your World Class Business Blueprint. Learn how to design a personalised blueprint that will allow you to grow your business & thrive as a woman in business! Happy listening!
