Today’s episode is not easy. It’s about the images we scroll past, the headlines we mute, the suffering we’ve normalized. From Gaza to Congo to ICE detention centers, we’ve been shown visually terrible things—and instead of being moved, we’ve become numb.
We’ve seen so much suffering that we’ve started calling the numbness wisdom. We’ve baptized our avoidance and called it peace. But silence isn’t holy—it’s harmful.”

This is a hard argument to make as I do try to advocate to the betterment of the world. But if you bear with me I just want to place the argument that without divine intervention or societal intervention people don’t change. Theres this inherent nature we all have, that to some capacity we have to change, we have to change, but there isn't much room to change nature. The concept that people fundamentally do not change over time is a view supported by the idea that core personality traits and behaviors are deeply ingrained and resistant to alteration. Despite life's experiences and external influences, there are compelling reasons to believe that individuals remain fundamentally the same.
