Ever since I began studying the Bible deeply for myself, the Ritual of Scapegoat on Yom Kippur (Leviticus 16) has absolutely FASCINATED me more than any other subject. The cryptic references to Azazel, whom at the time, meant nothing more than a character I remembered from an X-Men movie I had watched recently (at that time). What (or who) is Azazel? Why was a goat sent out to this "thing", what was the prophetic significance as it relates to Jesus? Finally after years of ponderance, the LORD has finally allowed me to share these things with all of you!
