Day 1 - SESSION 2: The Fastest Route to Freshness, Presented by Cool Logistics Global 2020, hosted by Port of Rotterdam. Live from the Cool Logistics Global 2020 virtual conference.

There is no doubt that members of the cold supply chain have risen to the challenge of keeping world trade in food and medicines flowing in the face of pandemic challenges that have included sea and land border congestion, equipment and shipment displacement, a huge shift to remote working, frontline labour shortages and increased health security requirements and restrictions.

Shipping, trucking, rail, processing, pack houses, ports, terminals, cold stores and other key cold chain nodes and modes have all been affected - in some cases negatively but for others positively, generating new investment and business opportunities.

So now, how should members of the global cold supply chain move forward collectively to flexibly manage continued shocks and alleviate systemic risks to food and pharma cargoes, people, assets and infrastructure?

Join Moderator, Steve Cameron, Director at Cameron Maritime Resources and panellists, Franklin Gius, Chief Mission Officer at Befrank, Matthijs Montsma, Post Harvest Programme Manager at Wageningen University and Michel Jansen, Managing Director at Total Produce, for this stimulating podcast episode.
