What is the best education system? In this episode, we reflected on our education journeys, summarising the skills that we learnt from primary school all the way to university. We compare and  contrast the different skills emphasized by education systems in Vietnam versus the West, the likes of memorising skills, rote learning, critical thinking and presentation skills. We then touch on the future of education, whether university degrees are really necessary, useful and more importantly applicable for the modern day career, including start-ups, influencer, Youtuber, online marketing and the likes. If universities are becoming obsolete, then are home schooling, gap years and self- study / online study the more efficient and cost-effective solutions for the next generation?
