Even GOP States Have Exploding Budgets. What Gives? Rep. Fritts Explains

Even Republican-controlled states dominated by conservative voters such as Tennessee have seen ballooning budgets despite the wishes of the public, explained Representative Monty Fritts in this interview with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman on Conversations That Matter.

Fritts, who is also running for governor, blasted the political class for continuing to grow both spending and taxes. He also slammed new spending programs such as the “voucher” scheme that is now funneling taxpayer money to Islamic schools in Tennessee.

One critical element of restoring honest government is bringing a faith-based, biblical perspective back into politics, Rep. Fritts said.
