Founded by Archie Green, PDLB’s mission is to educate, equip, and empower Black men to prioritize their mental health through creative expression and community support. Using hip-hop as a tool for healing, PDLB challenges stigma and fosters open conversations around mental wellness.

🟢 PDLB Programs

🟢 Cope Dealer – PDLB’s 14-week mental health workshop for men and boys, blending hip-hop, open dialogue, and professional guidance to address relationships, identity, and emotional wellness.

🟢 Cope Dealer Training Program – A three-hour facilitator training for teachers, counselors, social workers, and community professionals to become certified in delivering PDLB’s mental health framework.

🟢 Holding Space – A healing discussion series where Black men can safely come together, break bread, and openly talk about mental health without stigma.

🟢 My Violin Weighs a Ton – A four-and-a-half-month program fusing hip-hop and classical music. Partnering with the Cleveland Orchestra, students ages 4–14 performed hip-hop on classical guitars while exploring themes of confidence, social anxiety, and healing.
