Episode 15:  When Taking Care of Mama 'Nem Is Taking You Out!  Preventing Caregiver Burnout and Revenue Burnthrough with Preparation and Planning

We don’t want to think about it, but what we must! What if we find ourselves in a pickle because we are in the sandwich generation—taking care of kids and taking care of our parents. What if our spouse becomes disabled and now needs long-term health care? What if we need a caregiver for ourselves? Really, all of these questions should start with “What will we do WHEN…” Even if we are never disabled, everyone is going to age—our parents, our spouses, our significant others, our siblings, and, Yes, we are going to age too! So rather than kicking the can down the road of longevity, we should be filling up a can with resources that ensure that we can properly take care of our loved ones with running ourselves or our money in the ground!
