Andy Nazzaro is a local Greater Boston influencer who runs the website and social media account Andy's Local Spotlight. He came to Waltham Works for a visit and sat down with founder, Kian Nowrouzi, for an episode of "Conversations at Waltham Works". We discuss Andy's passion for local and small business, his philosophy on community and how he's turning his passion into actionable change through his local spotlight.

Through Andy's Local Spotlight, hundreds of New England businesses have been featured and showcased bringing great exposure and new business to each company. Andy takes the time to visit most of the businesses and finds that most every time, he makes a new friend and finds a great product near his home. We also dive into how the everyday person can start incorporating local business into their daily lives. It's easy to shop at big box stores like Target and Walmart, but does it truly add value to your community by doing so?

Probably not. Andy lays down several guidelines for shopping at and supporting local businesses. Whether it's for your wedding cake or a morning cup of coffee, there's always something you could do and don't we all know that during COVID-19, we could all use the extra help. Enjoy the show!
