We are hearing endless excuses as to why the signature budget bill is not achieving its stated goals. The most prevalent excuse is that lawmakers don’t have the votes for conservative legislation. Well, if that is true, it’s because of people like Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who pushed for Green New Deal subsidies in the bill. So why is there no unified effort to remove people like her who will stand for re-election next year? We’re joined by our first primary challenger of the year, former Iowa state Senator Jim Carlin, who is running for U.S. Senate. He has been part of the grassroots effort to fight the Green New Deal land-grabs in Iowa and to elect better members to the legislature. He shows how Joni Ernst is the very embodiment of what everyone hates about corporatist Republicans and duplicitous campaign promises dying on the altar of special-interest politics. We cover his vision for Iowa landowners, medical freedom, and fixing the military-industrial complex. We will find out who truly believes in defeating RINOs and who is just in this business to make money.
