S3E14 Going Slow to Move Fast - An Update on my Health Journey
It has been a wild last two months beginning to get answers for why I have experienced acne, constipation, UTIs, PMS, poor mood, and other symptoms over the last 15 years. Because I have been taking time to dive into the research, implement what I am learning, and begin to heal, I have had to take a step back from the podcast. I am happy to share that I have found a good routine with my new diet and lifestyle changes and am excited to have time to dedicate to the podcast again! Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, and gotten curious over the last two months :) It has truly meant so much to me to have your support, and I hope you learn something new during this episode!

What I discuss in the episode:

  • What I have been doing to support my emotional health
  • What came up on my labs to give a better picture of what is going on in my body
  • Symptoms that I have been experiencing over the last 15 years
  • Lots of information about parasites - what they are, how we get them, symptoms of parasites, and what I have been doing to get rid of them
  • Potential root causes to my insulin resistance
  • Why my waking cortisol being high was not a surprise
  • What the Wahls protocol is and why I’ve been doing it
  • Supplement and lifestyle recommendations to support PCOS
  • What I have been doing to try and move the needle on my lab markers
