Strong Euro, Weak Euro: two cultures, one currency. A(n) (im)possible coexistence?
Is it possible for two different cultures to share the same currency? How? And what would advise it? In this episode, Professor Vitor Bento, an economist at the Bank of Portugal and author of the book "Euro Forte, Euro Fraco", talked to us about inflation throughout time, from a cultural, historical and political perspective. Some topics also discussed in this episode were the German case and the case of the Greek-Latin countries as well as the Portuguese economy and the effects and consequences of inflation.
