Kathryn ::: Unravelling complexity and facilitating connection
Originally a professional ballet dancer, Kathryn was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1968 and came to Europe as such in 1987. She worked with Ismael Ivo in Vienna and spent some years with Tanz Theater Hamburg, but after the experience she had in her first Feldenkrais Workshop - which she shares with us in this podcast interview - she immediately knew that she had found her true calling. From 1995-1999 she participated in her first Feldenkrais Training, Ubbergen 6, taught by Mia Segal. She has been a passionate and dedicated Feldenkrais teacher ever since and works extensively in her own practice in Hamburg, as well as internationally as an Assistant within Feldenkrais Professional Training Programs. Kathryn is also active in the German guild and believes service to the community to be an essential part of professional practice. With over 20 years of experience, Kathryn is committed to contributing to and supporting processes of reflection and development for students, teachers, graduates and Trainings in an international, modern day context. But most of all, she is passionate about learning and movement, and fascinated by the way this wonderful method can be used as a means for growth and personal development. Kathryn hopes to inspire with her authenticity and enthusiasm.
