She’s born in Munich, has worked in many different professions, loves dancing and looks back on many years of living with her family in foreign countries like Egypt and Bulgaria. For many years live circumstances had not been in favour of her getting to be a Feldenkrais Practitioner, but no she is one and currently she works and lives with her husband in Japan.

Corinna Eikmeier ist seit 2020 Professorin für Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogin an der Musikhochschule Lübeck. Sie studierte Violoncello und Improvisation und unterrichtete Feldenkrais über 20 Jahre an der Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. Sie erforscht die Zusammenhänge zwischen der Musizierpraxis – im Speziellen der Improvisation und der Feldenkrais-Methode. Dazu veröffentlichte sie u.a. ihre Dissertation „Bewegungsqualität und Musizierpraxis. Zum Verhältnis von Feldenkrais-Methode und musikalischer Improvisation“.
