Hi, I'm Hafsa Slaiman, intern, wanderluster and extrovert. The problem though is that I hit more speed bumps than a formula one racer. Med school has proven to be far from Grey's Anatomy and my future has become more convoluted than the nephron. I’ve been away for a while but I’m back and ready to confess, but are you ready to hear it all? This podcast reveals it all: my breakdowns, my fails, my first times, my solutions and fun medical stuff, so whether you’re a med student, premed, doc or even someone who just wants to get inspired come along and join me on my journey.

The Night I Didn’t Want Her to Die Alone

Some nights, the pager can wait. This is the story of a patient whose condition was terminal but whose dignity deserved time. Holding her hand in her final moments changed me — and reminded me why I’m here.

❓ Have you ever advocated for something — even something small — that made a big difference in someone’s care?
