Wisconsin sues Miami over Xavier Lucas’ transfer, alleging tortious interference with a NIL revenue-sharing agreement. The lawsuit doesn't name the player — just the University of Miami — and could set the tone for how schools handle tampering claims under the new NIL model.

Fernando Tatis Jr. is suing Big League Advance to void a contract he signed as a 17-year-old — one that gives BLA 10% of his future earnings for 25 years. The lawsuit calls the agreement predatory, despite Tatis receiving $2 million upfront at a time when his MLB future was uncertain. If successful, this could upend BLA’s entire business model — and open the door for similar challenges.
