I started this project in September 2023, because of the frustration I felt as an English teacher. I felt my students frustration and lack of relevance towards the texts presented in typical textbooks which are Anglo-centric or USA-centric. I noticed a lack of good quality resources for Australian EAL/ESL content creation that goes beyond the “g’day” and slang.Students want to be able to understand real Australians talking in a variety of contexts.
