We were putting a wrap on an eventful weekend on Martin Luther King Jr. Day across the US!
On Sunday we got the word that Gino Odjick had passed away. He was a fan and player favorite in his 8 seasons as a Vancouver Canuck. He packed a lot of life into his 52 years and was a role model and great guy that will be sorely missed.
It was Super Wildcard weekend in the NFL with 6 games on tap. We gave blanket coverage to them all and you will be highly entertained checking out our takes. There are now just 8 teams left for the divisional round that happens this weekend and we previewed the action.
The NBA had a big schedule on this holiday Monday as usual. It means a lot for most NBA players to play on this day to honor Dr. King. We briefly went into the goings on from the day. We revealed the Players of the Week in week 13.
The UFC was on a hiatus and finally had it's first card of the New Year. UFC fight Night 217 and Vegas 67 was good and fun to watch and breakdown. Also some big fight announcements were made and we discussed. We previewed next weeks pay per view fight card as well UFC 283 from Rio!
